Incredible photograph, of thousands of Munk's devil rays in the Sea of Cortez, México, wins CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year 2010 awards. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature, Munk's devil rays are almost an endangered species.

Florian Schulz, born in Germany,  is a professional nature & wildlife photographer and speaker of international acclaim with a commitment to the conservation. This photograph took the top prize in the category 'Underwater World' and also garnered him 'Environmental Photographer of the Year 2010' in the CIWEM (The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management) awards.
